Un tweet del sitio oficial de Billboard, ha creado polémica, al asegurar que ARTPOP no será lanzado al mercado mundial hasta el mes de septiembre, afirmandolo con información de fuentes al parecer totalmente fiables [lee nota anterior]. Esta es al descripción que Billboard hace al respecto del lanzamiento de la nueva producción discográfica de Gaga:
"ARTPOP" es mucho, mucho más que el tercer álbum de Gaga. También es una aplicación muy esperada con contenido gratuito, interactivo y un documental que acompaña a raíz el proceso de grabación, dirigido por el cercano colaborador Terry Richardson. Más allá de eso, no hay muchos detalles que hayan sido confirmados acerca del proyecto. Aunque ha habido un montón de rumores. Las pistas que se consideran en el set incluyen una secuela confirmada del dúo con Beyoncé, "Telephone", posiblemente titulado "Ratchet" (y, quizá, el primer sencillo para el nuevo álbum de Beyoncé, tentativamente para abril.) La fecha de lanzamiento también aún no se ha confirmado, pero varias fuentes han dicho a Billboard que el conjunto puede llegar tarde, como hasta por septiembre. It’s also a highly anticipated app with complimentary, interactive content and an accompanying documentary following the recording process helmed by frequent collaborator Terry Richardson. Beyond that, not many details have been confirmed about the project. Though there have been plenty of rumors. The tracks believed to be on the set include a confirmed sequel to Beyoncé duet “Telephone,” possibly titled “Ratchet” (and possibly the first single for Beyoncé’s own upcoming album, tentatively due in April.) A release date has also yet to be confirmed, but multiple sources have told Billboard that the set might not arrive until as late as September. We do know, however, that Gaga booked a lot of studio time with rising EDM artist Zedd, and has cut more than 50 tracks for the collection.
